[Notice] Update on EU Customs Clearance Policy –
Removal of the EUR 150 Duty-Free Threshold
Dear Customers,
To comply with upcoming changes to EU import regulations, Global Amoremall will update its customs clearance policy for all shipments destined for EU member countries.
Please review the details below carefully to avoid any delays or additional charges during customs clearance.

■ Effective Date
This policy applies to all orders shipped to EU that are cleared by local customs on or after July 1, 2026 (local time).
■ Key Changes
1. Removal of the EUR 150 Duty-Free Threshold
The current customs duty exemption for shipments valued below EUR 150 will be abolished.
As a result, all shipments entering the EU will be subject to standard customs clearance procedures, regardless of order value.
2. Introduction of a Fixed Customs Clearance Fee
To support compliant and efficient customs processing, a fixed customs clearance fee of EUR 3 per HS code will be charged.
€3 per line item, based on 6-digit HS code
- One item, one HS code → 1 × €3 = €3
- Multiple items with three different HS codes → 3 × €3 = €9
- Multiple items, all with the same HS code → 1 × €3 = €3
※Please note that the exact duty amount is determined by customs officials at the time of clearance.
3. Local Carrier Fees
Local carriers may charge additional handling, processing, or brokerage fees upon arrival in the destination country.
■ Payment Responsibility
All customs duties, VAT, taxes, customs clearance fees, and any carrier-imposed service charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
■ Applicable Countries
This policy applies to all EU destination countries, including:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
■ Important Notes
- HS code classifications may vary depending on the destination country and the interpretation of local customs authorities, even for similar products.
- The final amount of duties, taxes, and customs-related charges is determined solely by the local customs authority. Therefore, Global Amoremall cannot guarantee or provide the exact amount in advance.
- Any duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, or carrier service charges assessed locally must be paid by the recipient.
- If a shipment is refused, abandoned, returned, or destroyed due to non-payment of customs-related charges, Global Amoremall will not be responsible for any resulting losses and refunds may not be available.
- We recommend checking the latest customs regulations in your country before placing an order.
